Joy Systems/Walmart
In reading other people's complaints about Joy Systems and computers bought from Walmart, I actually feel a little better about my experience. Just like others, I bought a refurbished computer on line from Walmart that had labels on it with Joy Systems technical support contact info, a phone number and e-mail address.
After 4 days of calling and 6 different e-mails, I NEVER made contact with anyone at Joy Systems. All I got with the phone number was either a recorded message that gave their hours, 9 - 5:30 EST, and even though I called within those hours, the message also said they were closed. Twice I did get put in a cue to wait my turn, but then, after waiting for almost an hour, I was disconnected. So, bottom line, I NEVER made contact with the mythical technical support at Joy Systems.
I finally went through Walmart and got them to agree to a full refund in the form of a Walmart gift card. So, I took that offer and then brought the computer to a local repair place. For $39.99 they fixed the problem.
Now I have a working computer and a $375 Walmart gift card. I have to wonder why Walmart, or anyone else for that matter would want to have anything to do with Joy Systems.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

After waiting for nearly an hour to speak to a representative I tried to leave a voice message. Their recording advise that the voice message box was full so it could not take my message. I fully intend to take this further.
So where are the other 6 complaints?
