**WARNING** avoid doing business with Newegg for any refurbished items! I purchased an HP6460p in Dec 2016.

In Jun 2017 the hard drive went out after doing a required Windows 10 update - Newegg shipped another one which I replaced myself (after waiting 7 days for shipping). I received the replacement laptop in July2017 but during the startup process, the laptop froze after doing a Windows 10 update and gave me the same error as I got in Jun 2017! Newegg does not give refunds for refurbished items - so I had to choose a different brand of computer to replace the HP. Newegg charged expedited shipping for the replacement laptops twice even though it was their fault the laptops needed to be replaced.

Each return took a minimum of 10 days - to return the defective item, Newegg to inspect the returned item (as if I was lying about the computer freezing up), and 3 days to ship a replacement.

Each time, Newegg charged me to expedite the order of the replacement computer AND charged me for overnight shipping to replace the defective item. The current Newegg is not the same as the one I worked with years ago...
